Water-skiing
You can water ski at Pescallo and Lezzeno where the local clubs offer lessons
and equipment hire.

Cavalcalario Club is the name of group of enthusiasts who enjoy these and
other adventurous pursuits. The club is in Guello.
Windsurf
Several parts of the lake are used by windsurfers. The nearest is in front
of Pescallo. Onno (10 minutes away) usually gets wind in the afternoon, while
Parè (15 minutes) offers a morning wind and equipment hire.
Hang-gliding
One can fly over the lake from Cornizzolo, near Civate. The launch point is
reached in half an hour.
Rock climbing
The Grigne, the Corno di Medale, Scarenna, Nobiallo, Onno and other localities
in the area offer beautiful rock faces for climbers of all levels of ability.

Flying boat
Como has the a famous and historic school for pilots of flying boats. The
school – which is the only one in Italy – organises trips on the
lake. A treat not to be missed.

Boats of all sizes and levels of power, with or without a pilot, can be hired
with or without a nautical licence.

All types of sailing are on offer at the Circolo della Vela in Pescallo which, among other things, organises an annual regatta for vintage sailing boats. Canoeing
This is the lake sport par excellence. The Unione Sportiva Bellagina is a historic club which has produced many international champions. Between 1986 and 2002 nine World Championship gold medals came to Bellagio. Today three athletes from the town are members of the national team: Franco Sancassani, Daniele Gilardoni and Elisabetta Sancassani. Swimming pool, tennis and
five-a-side football.
The Bellagio Sporting Club offers excellent facilities, saunas and synthetic pitches. Fishing
On the lake one can fish with all types of fishing rod or try underwater fishing. The most common catches are trout, whitefish, cavedani, pike, tench, perch, bleak, eels, and bottatrici. Skiing
