The town of Bellagio: between the mountains and the lake.
Bellagio stands on the lakeshore and is divided by the via Garibaldi, which is criss-crossed by a series of pretty lanes which run up and down the hillside to the lake. The last of these is the Salita Serbelloni, where a plaque marks the long stay of the romantic musician Franz Liszt.

The Flavours of the Belle Epoque
The dock for the pleasure boats has been rebuilt paying particular care to respecting the feel of the old dock which dates from the turn of the twentieth century.
Pleasure boats offer a wonderful way to enjoy the lake, but the greatest joy is to be found on one’s return, when the view of Bellagio from the water, coming gently closer, reveals its scintillating beauty.

The ‘salon’ of Bellagio
The old porticoes on the lakefront are considered to be “the salon of Bellagio”. Towards evening you will find the locals mingling with the tourists, taking their evening aperitif, chatting and making friends. In Bellagio the tourist is never a stranger: our sense of hospitality leads us to welcome people into our “living room”.
